It is obviously African music, and she sings in like 5 different languages on this disc, mostly different African dialects but also some french which is very common in Africa. The music has a lot of percussion, but almost feels latin. She has a really beautiful passionate voice, and you can just sense that she really feels what she is singing. Most of the subject of the songs are about Africa and how to improve the situation there and end war. I don't know how to explain it but it is really cool. I highly recommend you check it out.
